Developments (34 Month to 37 Month)

Time really flies. It's the Sept Holidays so have time to update his development again. haha...

Language:
- Spelling: Able to spell simple words like his name, colours such as blue, white, yellow, purple, pink, red, etc... Thanks to my sis who's always teaching him.

-Recognition of words: Was rather surprised when we walked past a "zhi cha stall" and he pointed at the word "pumpkin" even though there was no picture to aid him. It was then I realised that he could recognise and read some words like 'big', 'small', 'frog'.

Mathematics: Think he still likes Math best. Now trying to add and subtract with lego cubes or with fingers but sometimes he's lazy to count them. haha...

Social-Emotional: Think we still need to work on this. He's still generally shy with people and refuses to talk most of the time. he'll only speak up when he's in a good mood or when he knows the people. Will try to bring him out more often to interact with others.

Psychomotor skills: Think his gross psychomotor skills are quite alright. able to climb stairs without aid even though the kiasee parents will be at his side. able to kick and throw a ball. he's better in kicking than in throwing and catching the ball though.
Concerned about his fine psychomotor skills such as writing. He tends to scribble rather than write and often colour out of the line. Sometimes, he just anyhow shades the picture instead of taking care to colour them. Hopefully, this will not develop into a habit.
