Blowing bubbles

Chloe has been blowing bubbles for the past few weeks and drooling. wonder if she's gonna start teething. bought some teethers for her but she does not seem to like them yet.

War in bed

Chloe fights and struggles in bed! See! She has conquered her bolsters:

Sleeping posture

See the changes in her sleeping posture from beginning to 4th months:

Chloe can sit

Chloe has been trying to lift her head and sit upright when we placed her on a reclining surface such as propping her against a pillow or putting her on the bouncer. Hence, Andy decided to put her without and support and amazingly, she could sit without support for a few seconds before toppling to her side. haha...

However, she is a bit slower in flipping compared to Kayden. Hope she'll catch up in other ways.

Chloe's 3rd month development

Brought Chloe for her vaccination and 3rd month development assessment. She's 6.4kg and 60cm tall. Height is 50 percentile, weight is 75 percentile but her head circumference is only 25 percentile as her head circumference is 38.5cm. Am rather concerned about this but only saw the measurements in the health booklet after the consultation. Will ask the Pd the next time.

The Pd said that Chloe has grown well and tested her reflexes. She was strong and could lift her head high for quite a while. Din cry during the jab and Andy commented that she was brave. Commented too early cos she cried the next moment.

As usual, there's always the possibility of having fever after the jab. True enough, she had fever in the middle of the night and in the afternoon of the next day. Gave her paracetemol and the fever subsided. She was cranky and cried at times during her sleep. Hopefully, she would not have any side effects next time.

Cny artwork

Kayden did these in class. Brought them home before CNY. We did not hang them up initially as we were coping with the new addition. However, he takes pride in his work and wants us to display them at home. We then hung them up.

Look at his artwork:

Kayden's 1st visit to the dental clinic

Brought Kayden to My Dentist's Clinique which is located at blk 204 near Bedok Central. Was rather worried about how he will behave there. The hygienist, Ms Irin, was very patient and kind when she got him to sit on the chair and put on the sunglasses. She then did a check n introduced him to the equipment. There was the toothbrush, straw (that sucks up the saliva), lights to shine on his teeth n the water gun (used to spray on his teeth). She counted his teeth n told him that he has 20 baby teeth n 3 had small holesin them. She then did the cleaning for him. Before using the electric toothbrush, she let him have a feel of the strength of the toothbrush against his hand. He was tense but followed her instructions. Everything went well n he was given a sticker.

Had to make another appt to do the filling. Hopefully, it would go as smoothly as this experience.

Kayden's health status at k1

He had his eyes n teeth checked in sch. Eyesight is fine but he had tooth decay. Decided to make an appt with the dentist.

No smoking

Kayden suddenly drew a picture of a cigarette n said no smoking at coffee shop, shopping centre n library.

Later, I realised that he had observed the signs that were displayed at the coffeeshop and the dental clinic.

Model in the making

Chloe loves to pose even when she's sleeping. We teased her about being vain n perhaps she would be pretty n be a model. I hope not though.

Some of her poses are as follows:
